Adele, Turning Tables

Adele, Turning Tables

Turning Tables by Adele was one the stand-out songs of the worldwide number one album 21. The piano introduction is really beautiful and the lyrics, all about a domestic dispute, convey the deep emotions that she must have been feeling when it was written. The single didn’t perform that well commercially but after Gwyneth Paltrow performed it on the TV show Glee it has become a bit of a cult hit. The tune has now become an essential part of Adele’s live tour shows and is a favourite with an legion of fans who can obviously associate on a deep levels with the songs content.

Below, you will the sheet music for both the introduction and verse of this song. The whole arrangement is not scored out in this version but it is a simplified, easy to play arrangement that should give you all the information you need to play this piece well. As you can see, it has not been transposed and is in the original key of C minor. We hope that you enjoy playing this piece as much as we do!
